Our 131st Emsdale Agricultural Society is on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

Opening Ceremonies at 11:30 AM

Morning Parade 
Shriners, clowns, horses, costumes and floats! Floats assemble at Anglican Church at 10:30 AM.

English & Western Horse Show
Watch these riders compete and exhibit their skills.

 

Horse Draw
A highlight for the day would have to be watching team-horses compete at the horse pull. Click for more details.

 

Live Music
Easy listening, popular music. Come sit and listen or get up and dance.

 

Log Sawing & Nail Driving Contests
Challenge your friends or your brother or sister to beat your time. Be top dog when cutting the log.


 

Drumming Circle
Join in and feel the power of the groups rhythm. Sponsored by The Emsdale Lions

 

Ken the Balloon Dude
Get a monkey, snake, or a funny hat made just for you.

 

Kids Bouncy Castle
Burn off that candy floss – Jump, jump, jump! Get in line and do it again.

 

Face Painting
Become a bunny, or scary monster. Kids will love it!

 

Antique Machinery
See how things used to be done. Some displays are hands on for the kids to try.

Baby Show 
10:00 AM in front of the Perry Old Timers Museum. 2 years old & younger. Registration is from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM inside the Museum. Prizes for all who enter! Special prizes for the best dressed within the following categories; "Mr. Farmer" and "Ms Farmerette", Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Animal Costumes. Please be prompt.

Every Baby is a Winner at the Emsdale Fair!

 

Little Tracks Petting Zoo
15 plus animals for up close visits, and staff education. 2 ponies for free rides.

 

Hall Exhibits

Perry Old Timers Museum
The Perry Old Timer Museum represent a substantial part of the heritage of the citizens of Emsdale and area. Is open to all visitors of the fair and run by the Emsdale~Scotia and Area Women's Institute also selling their "Famous Homemade Pies"
